Not as the breakout “Halo with portals” shooter people were hyping in 2021, and not as the version of Splitgate 2 that collapsed almost immediately after launch last year. This time it’s Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, a relaunch built around one very blunt admission from 1047 Games: they tried to do too much, ignored what made people like the original game, and got punished for it.
